We had a fantastic stay at the Country Lodge @ Rose Cottage! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a homely atmosphere. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The location was beautiful, with tranquil surroundings and a lovely view of the gardens and deer. And the highlight was definitely the incredible food prepared by the Chef! Each evening, we were treated to a set menu with the freshest local produce. Absolutely delicious! we highly recommend this lodge for a wonderful stay in Winterton.

I recently stayed at Rose Cottage in Winterton for a few days and had a wonderful experience. Brian and Roseanne were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a private garden to enjoy. Chef Sally prepared delicious meals in the evenings, and the honesty bar was well-stocked and reasonably priced. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with a great selection of cereals, pastries, juices, and coffee. Brian provided helpful advice on places to visit in the area, especially the Kruger National Park. the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
